Paige (Stiles), a free-spirited American college student (and motorcycling enthusiast) starting her education at an Indiana university, meets and falls in love with one of her classmates, but what she doesn't know is that he's actually a Danish prince, Frederick (Mably), spending his "gap year" (before having to perform his princely duties) by hiding in America disguised as a regular guy. Prince Edward from Denmark tries to “find himself” and “get away” from his parents the King and Queen.  Eddie, quite the ladies man, sees a “wild” video about the Girls of Wisconsin so he enrolls at the University of Wisconsin, on his own after cutting the purse strings to mom and dad, the King and Queen.  He meets and eventually falls in love with Paige Morgan from Wisconsin.  She brings “Eddie” home for Thanksgiving to the family farm in Manitowoc where Eddie sees a lawn mower in the barn, when Paige’s two brothers tell him “we race these things and the big race is coming up.”  Being a sports car nut, Eddie soups up the mowers and…wins the race.  That evening after the race, their first kiss is in the barn where the lawn mower is parked!
